I wanted to write and express my gratitude for Kevin’s work. Wineries like ours regularly get asked to sponsor a myriad of organisations, events, individuals and activities often with little real thought as to how it might be of any conceivable benefit to the winery, its brands or wine. There is usually no concept of a partnership approach or to developing a sound ongoing commercial relationship.

Kevin is without doubt one of the best we’ve worked with in sponsorship. He communicates clearly, very well and always in a timely way. He is efficient, well organized and has thought a great deal about how we as the sponsor can get commercial benefit and brand exposure. His attention to detail is impressive and he is excellent with the logistics. Most importantly, for someone in his position he is not too proud to roll up his sleeves and do the manual work as well. The recent Andreas Scholl concert was a case in point where he delivered on all his promises, gave us great exposure and made it logistically very easy. We felt proud to be associated with such a memorable event.

Mr Bishop was recommended to me when I was left with an upstairs deck leaking to inside the house as the result of very poor workmanship by a builder. I could not afford to have the work redone. A certified builder had estimated the cost to be several thousand dollars so I needed to recover the money in the disputes tribunal. Mr Bishop prepared my case for me, writing up the whole story, assembling all the documents and exhibits, taking photos and completing the forms. I was unable to attend the hearing as I was unwell and the court allowed Mr Bishop to appear on my behalf. Mr Bishop was able to recover the entire $7,500 being the cost of demolishing the faulty work and rebuilding the deck and roof underneath. He negotiated payment terms with the other party and recovered the money over three months. I couldn’t have wished for a better outcome. I would recommend him as someone meticulous in his work, very practical with a good understanding of the relevant law, efficient and expert at mediation and achieving the best outcome for everyone.

As a trustee of the Auckland Town Hall Organ Trust [established 2003] I worked  with Kevin Bishop for several years from the time he managed the inauguration of the new Town Hall Organ in March 2010. For that auspicious occasion, which involved a considerable number of performers from choirs to the Auckland Youth Orchestra, Kevin undertook the planning of the event as well as the management of it on the day. He managed everything meticulously with nothing left to chance thus ensuring a smooth and highly successful event for the delight of a packed Auckland Town Hall. Shortly afterwards Kevin was appointed to the Trust and soon thereafter to the positions of Chairman and also Treasurer, roles he fulfils with admirable competence and great attention to detail, thus ensuring a very well-run trust.
